Skiathlon is a race with an individual start in classical technique in the first part, followed by mandatory ski exchange in a pit box in the stadium. The second part in free/skate technique.

6km and 4km distance - ski into your exchange pit - take off skis and poles, put skis and poles back on and ski the second part of the course.
1km (kids) - ski into your exchange pit - leave skis on- do 5 jumping jacks - ski the second part of the course.

***Registration opens Friday jan 28th at 12pm and closes Jan 31st at 12pm. Absolutely NO late registrations. $10 per racer (no refunds). Waves are limited to 25 racers.***
IMPORTANT NOTE: All racers and volunteers aged 12 and up must be double vaxxed. Proof of vaccination may be checked at bib pick-up or at random. Masks are required in the stadium and any place on course where distancing is not possible.
