Fundraising For The Next 50!

As we look forward to celebrating the 50th anniversary of Walden Cross Country in January 2029, we are already making plans to continue our commitment to “Happy Trails” for the next 50 years and beyond.

Our Club is always working to maintain and improve our extensive trail system and develop new programs for skiers of all ages, while repairs and upgrades to our Chalet, outbuildings, and equipment are ongoing.

But we need your help! Our new trail groomer is the cornerstone of our “Next Fifty” campaign. We were able to obtain significant funding toward its purchase through a number of grants (official announcements and details to follow) and used our own capital reserves built up over the last few years. However, we now need to fundraise to pay off the balance and to finance other upcoming major projects.

Please consider investing in the future of your Club by donating to “Walden Cross Country” at Nordiq Canada’s “Club Donations” page. A tax receipt for charitable donations will be issued by Nordiq Canada. The Nordiq Canada website has a club selection option for donations and Walden Cross Country is on the list. If you can’t donate now, remember that you can join our amazing team of volunteers at any time. We always need help with school and youth groups, and with races and other special events.
